Half Day Ride

This ride suits all levels of ability. It starts out in pine forest, with flat sections to begin with to get you feeling comfortable with your ATV.

We then ride across the Mangatepopo river and into the native forest of Tongariro National Park. We navigate our way through the tracks, which have plenty to offer for all levels of ability.

This trip also takes you to an old Maori battle ground, where the Maori warrior Te-Kooti had his last stand. There are views looking over Lake Otamanako and the Tongariro National Park.

$199 per person. Tea/Coffee provided. You need to bring warm clothes, sensible footwear and sun-cream. You need to be prepared for all weather conditions.
